Senior calendar

MOORE — Aging Services of Cleveland County Moore Senior Nutrition Site, 501 E. Main St., serves a daily meal and offers games, entertainment, helpful services and companionship.

To make a reservation for meals, call 793-9069. Donation for a meal for seniors 60 and above is $2. Required costs for a meal for guests under 60 is $4.

Dominos, card games, jigsaw puzzles, pool, quilting and volunteer work to assist shut-ins or work is available at the site.

Moore Council on Aging Bus Service provides a local bus service for seniors. Seniors may have transportation anywhere in the city of Moore for errands or appointments, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call 799-3130 for arrangements.

· 1 p.m. Oil painting lessons, (small charge)

· 9:30 a.m. Blood pressure and glucose checks

· 10:30 a.m. Exercise

Monday

Closed for Labor Day.

Tuesday

· 10 a.m. Country music house singers

· 11:45 Blood pressure checks and cookies

· 1 p.m. Crochet

Menu

Today — Chef salad, turkey, ham, cheese, pea salad, crackers and mixed fruit.

Thursday — Oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, wheat bread and butterscotch pudding.

Friday — Chili macaroni, black-eyed peas, spinach, wheat bread and peaches.

Monday — Closed for Labor Day.

Tuesday — Butter beans and ham, pickled beets, creamy slaw, cornbread and fruit gelatin.
