Girl Scouts in Moore addressed world poverty and hunger Feb. 23 for Thinking Day 2010.
Troop 333 Juniors gave a brief presentation on the theme "Together We Can End Extreme Poverty and Hunger" right before the World Thinking Day Pinning.
The scouts collected pennies for "Girl Scouts Change For Hunger."
Troops selected a country and made a display board about their country. They brought a snack or craft or both that Girl Scouts in their selected country would make.
The girls received a passport and as they strolled around the world and studied the country, they received a stamp in their passport.
