Voters return to polls

MOORE — Cleveland County voters will return to the polls Tuesday. On the ballots are a Republican run off vote for State Rep. 27 and state insurance commissioner.

In the state representative race, Josh Cockroft or Richard Bennett will face Democrat Chris Odneal in November. John P. Crawford and John Doak are on the Republican run-off for state insurance commissioner. The winner of that contest will face Democrat

Propositions for the city of Norman and Oklahoma City and Noble Public Schools also are on the ballot.

Oklahoma City voters also will be asked to grant a natural gas utility franchise to Oklahoma natural Gas. ONG has had a franchise with Oklahoma City for many years, but the agreement has to be renewed every 25 years.

Absentee voting

Voters who wish to vote early may go to the Cleveland County Election Board Friday before Monday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Monday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
