Don’t suffer from stage fright?
If you live in Cleveland County and you can sing, dance or any of the above, you should drop by, or mail, a CD/DVD of your talent to the Cleveland County Free Fair Talent Search, officials with the fair board announced this week.
A panel of judges will determine the top 10. Winning acts will perform Sept. 11 at the Cleveland County Free Fair, and the first, second and third place winners will receive cash prizes. First place award is $150; second place $90; and third place is $60.
Performers of all ages are welcome. Fairboard officials said CDs will not be returned. All winners will provide a brief biography and a publicity photo for newspaper publication immediately after all winners have been announced. Absolutely no Web sites will be visited to view talent and all judges’ decisions are final.
