Moore residents hurt in motorcycle crash

Two Moore residents were hurt in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night in the southeastern part of the state, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The OHP reported the wreck happened at 6:23 p.m. Wednesday on a county road in Pushmataha County. Tommy Garrett, 51, was driving a 1996 Honda motorcycle northbound on a county road when the motorcycle left the road to the right and struck a ditch. Both Garrett and his passenger, Lenora Garrett, 51, were ejected about two feet.

According to the collision report, Tommy Garrett was taken by LeFlore County EMS to Choctaw Nation Indian Hospital in Talihina. He was listed in stable condition with leg and internal injuries.

Lenora Garrett was treated and released from Choctaw Nation Indian Hospital, according to the report.
