Alice Louis Blackwood Jackson

MOORE — Alice Louis Blackwood Jackson, 73, joined her beloved husband on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at John M. Ireland Funeral Chape in Moore. The Rev. John Walker officiated. Burial wasa in Vamoosa (Okla.)

Alice was born March 16, 1939, in Konawa to Dallas Andrew and Cleo Mildred Blackwood. Alice worked for Moore Public Schools, retiring from the Indian Education Program. Alice spent her retirement working on her beautiful gardens and playing the slot machines with friends and family.

Alice was happily married to James Lee Jackson for 51 years before his untimely death.

She is survived by their daughter, Stephanie Scott and husband Jim Scott of Oklahoma City; sons, Anthony “Tony” Jackson and wife Rhonda of Oklahoma City and Hoby Jackson and wife Michelle of Loveland, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Dallas Scott, Ryan and Molly Jackson of Oklahoma City, Nathan, Meghan, and Kelsey Jackson of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Annika and Nadia Jackson of Loveland; two sisters, Sue and Bob Hill of Moore, and Linda and Danny Malone of Harrah; one brother, Albert and Delena Blackwood of Moore; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
