MOORE — The City of Moore asks that residents do not cover their water meter box with large trash items.
This delays or prohibits the meter reader from determining the water used for utility billing. The water meter is typically in the front yard near the edge of the street with a manhole covering it.
With the opening of the new F. DeWayne Beggs Detention Center, the county is working to determine the fate of the correctional department’s previous facility.
