Krows re-elected to Moore city council

NORMAN — Robert Krows was re-elected Tuesday to Moore City Council Ward 1, with 74.9 percent of the vote.

As of 8 p.m. with 23 of 42 precincts reporting, the Rose State College special election was leading 64.5 to 35.5 percent.

Voting in Ward 1 of Moore was surprisingly light Tuesday for the only competitive city council race between Robert Krows, Carl Britton Jr. and Eric Beu. Polls opened at 7 a.m. and by 5:30 p.m., the two precincts — which vote at Providence Church on South Broadway — had only been visited by 67 voters and three voters, respectively.
