MOORE — Betty Jo Mooney, 73, of Oklahoma City, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 1, 2012.
Services were Friday, at Harvest Assembly of God in Oklahoma City. Interment followed at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
She was born Oct. 20, 1938, in Pawhuska. Betty was a very hard-working and fun-loving person. She loved her kids and grandkids more than anything. She enjoyed listening to bluegrass music and attending the music festivals and praising the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Seldon and Oma Hiser; a son, Alvie Lawayne McGuire; four brothers, Don, Asa, Verdon and Floy Hiser.
Betty is survived by her husband, Larry Mooney; two daughters, Trina Haggy and husband Boliver and Lynna Mortemore and husband Jeff; six grandchildren, Kayla McGuire, Sarina McGuire, Brayli Haggy, Amanda Finney, Amber McGuire and Chelsea McGuire; four great-grandchildren, Kamron McGuire, Aryanna and Adrian Cruz and Sara Debow; two sisters, Norma Litton and Wanda Dobbs; two brothers, Denver Hiser and wife Marion and Harold Hiser; and host of other loving family members and friends.
You are admired and deeply loved and you will be missed dearly.
Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, in Moore.
