MOORE — Gordon Randell “Randy” Bruehl, 49, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, in Norman.
Memorial services were Dec. 16 in Havenbrook Funeral Home chapel.
He was born June 17, 1962 in Norman to Harold and Norma Ruth (Donahue) Bruehl. He was united in marriage on March 12, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nev. to Tonia Dill.
Randy was a mechanic/machinist for Haliburton in Duncan before opening his own auto repair shop. He then went to work for Arvine Pipeline Supply. In 2003, Randy and Tonia built their own home which he was very proud. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the OU Sooners and Thunder basketball. He also enjoyed gardening and being on their acreage.
Randy is survived by his wife, Tonia Bruehl; parents, Ruth and Harold Bruehl of Norman; three sons, Chris Bruehl and wife Debra of Duncan, Keith Bruehl of Moore and Greg Starwalt of Del City; one daughter, Erin Bond and husband Ethan of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one brother, Jeff Bruehl and wife Pam of Duncan; three sisters, April Minson and husband Larry of Norman, Robin Thurman and husband Kurt of OKC and Wende Posey and husband Ted of Moore; and six grandchildren, Preston, Peyton, Kyla, Hannah, Caitlyn and Logan.
