Nancy Jane Pelley was born in Memphis TN, December 7, 1943 and peacefully left us February 26, 2010.
She led a full and adventurous life, always looking for a new challenge. She was a very determined woman with a strong sense of patriotism. Nancy graduated from Norman High School and earned a Degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
She was a well respected business woman who owned her own CPA firm for over 35 years.
Nancy took great pride in serving in the Air Force, as a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant after 25 years. She had a passion for helping others, for fairness, for equality, and for gardening. She never ran from a fight and took great joy in helping others succeed.
Nana Nancy, as her grandchildren called her, is now with the Lord and her family that passed before her. She is looking down on her many friends and loved ones just itching to offer advice, encouragement or a Facebook gift.
Nancy is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, Brother, two Sisters, and Husband.
She is survived by her son Robert Pelley and wife Kathy; daughter Tracy Pelley-Rariden and husband Stephen; seven Grand Children, Benjamin Pelley, Hayden Pelley, Christina Schue, Courtney Schue, Marissa Rariden, Dylan Rariden, and Chase Rariden; two great grandchildren Makenzie and Maddox; three sisters Jeannie Craig, Barbara Stephenson, and Martha Atkinson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 on Friday, March 5, 2010, at New Life United Methodist Church, 1105 NW 27th, Moore, OK 73160.
