MOORE — Viola Mae Yates, 76, of Moore, died Saturday, Aug. 21. She was born June 5, 1924.

She is survived by her son, Carl Fields and his wife JoAnn; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several cousins; sister, Violet Lee Boyd; niece; and stepsons, Richard Yates and Roy L. Yates Jr.

Services were held Aug. 25 at First Christian Church of Moore. Interment also was Aug. 25 at Centrahoma Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore.
