MOORE — Prudence McCann, 76, of Moore, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
Services were Monday, at First United Methodist Church of Moore. Interment followed at Moore Cemetery.
She was born April 9, 1935, in Temple, to Harry and Hazel (Moore) Davis. When she was younger, she loved to drive fast. Prudence enjoyed reading. She read a book a day. Her family was her life. Her first love was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Hazel Davis; daughter, Libbie Williams; great-grandson, Taylor Atkinson; sister, Robin McDonald.
Prudence is survived by three daughters, Jackie Combs and husband Harold, Vonnie Clark and husband Jim, Marque Francis and husband Mitch; son-in-law, Robert Williams; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, C.K. Davis and wife Jean, H.D. Davis and wife Anne, Max Davis and wife Carolyn and George Davis; sister, Kay Darnell and husband Roger; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, in Moore.
