MOORE — Wanda Lee Mattocks passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012.
Services will b Thursday at the Central Church of Christ in Moore at 1 p.m.
was born on March 6, 1930 to H. K. and Lottie Davis, the second of four children. Wanda met the love of her life, Sherman W. Mattocks in her teens, and they were married on Sept. 1, 1950.
Wanda and Sherman had two children, daughter, Kelley, and son, Larry. Wanda spent almost her entire life in the Moore area. She grew up there, attended church there and started a successful business — Mattocks Printing Co. — there with her husband more than forty years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Mattocks, parents, one sister, Mary Leas, and one brother, Joel Davis.
She is survived by two children, Kelley and Larry and their families, Susan Mattocks, Brenda Truman, five grandchildren, Shelbae, Dustin, Kelsey, Kennedy and William, one sister, Pauline Anderson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home.
