MOORE — Charles Robert Wood, 63, of Moore, died Monday, July 5. He was born Aug. 26, 1946 to Charles and Jottie Wood in Oklahoma City.
Charles enjoyed sailing, golfing and music. He loved to laugh and also cook. Charles loved his dog Mr. BU. He graduated from Moore High School in 1964.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Salinas and husband Anthony; son, Anthony Wood and wife Lacee; granddaughter, Brittany Brown; great-grandson, Ryan DeLong; sisters, Gay Freeman and husband Bill, Sharon Skaggs and husband Bobby, Pamela Wood; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and mother of his children, Janie Mitchell Wood.
Services will be held 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church of Moore. Interment will be 12:30 p.m. at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel.
