MOORE — Doyle LaRue Payne, 74, of Moore, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 13, 2010. Born in Wayne on April 25, 1936 to Hayden and Pearl Payne. He graduated from Wayne High School before moving on to college. His greatest joys were serving the Lord, Childrens’ Ministries, his family and the University of Oklahoma.
He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie of 55 years; his two daughters, Chrystal and Andrea; grandchildren, Joshua Wyatt and Mikala Mutchler; sister, Murl Clark of Dallas, Texas; and Norman Payne of Wayne.
Services were July 16 at the First Baptist Church of Moore. Graveside followed at Sunset Memorial under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
