Prep basketball 6A state tournament brackets released

MOORE — The Southmoore girls basketball team will kick off the 6A state tournament with an night game, according to the Oklahoma Secondary Athletic Activities Association, which released its championship brackets Sunday.

No. 4 Southmoore and No. 6 Booker T. Washington square off at 7 p.m. The last quarterfinal final matchup is between No. 1 Edmond Santa Fe and No. 14 Broken Arrow at 8:30 p.m.

The eighth ranked Timberwolves will face off with No. 11 Tulsa Union at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Skiatook. If North wins, it will meet the winner of No. 3 Bixby and No. 16 Edmond Memorial.

No. 4 Southmoore and No. 6 Booker T. Washington square off at 7 p.m. The last quarterfinal final matchup is between No. 1 Edmond Santa Fe and No. 14 Broken Arrow at 8:30 p.m.

The entire first round will be played at Skiatook. The semifinals and championship game will be played at the Maybee Center on the campus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa.
