Moore kid to compete in national tourney

MOORE — Moore’s Tanner Campbell was selected out of all OKC metro little league teams to participate for Team Oklahoma on the 6th grade team for the Football University.

The FBU tournament kicked off Dec. 1 at various locations. Campbell traveled to Wichita, KS. The winner will advance to single elimination tournament that features 64 state based teams. The first four rounds will take place at regional sites and the semifinals and finals are going to be held in San Antonio Jan. 5-6. The Final Four teams will earn an all-expense paid trip to San Antonio for a chance to play in the National Championship final following the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
